Elegant Lady in Grey

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

I started by cutting die #2 from Sue Wilson's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B out of Coconut White Card. I stamped the Woodware Old Letter Stamp (back in stock very soon hopefully) using Shadow Grey Archival. I cut die #3 from the same die set out of Dark Grey Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I stamped the lady from the Creative Expressions Portraits Rubber Stamp Set designed by Danny Mcintosh over the top using Watering Can Archival.

Using up my UTEE embellishments again, I added a silver one to the ladies hat (see yesterday's post describing how to make UTEE embellishments).

I finished my card by adding a 5mm White Pearl to each corner of my background.

Lisa  is continuing with his One Day Special on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 12noon, 4pm and 7pm. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have on my website from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tonight or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

  5. Hi Julia. The Lady in Grey was my Granny's favourite, restaurant for special occasions and Danny's stamp looks like my Granny (on a good day), never went out without her hat. She collected hats and hat pins like we collect craft stuff. Wish I'd saved her hat pins! x
