Hi Bloggers.
Thank you gor all your good wishes yesterday. The migraines are at bay, still a bit tender but manageable. I do know my food triggers and I hadn't had any of those, I think I was just a bit stressed. I did go to see Beauty and the Beast at the cinema on Monday night - highly recommended if you love a good Disney musical. Made better by knowing all the words to the songs - though I did not embarass myself by singing along!
Here's today's card -
I started by spritzing a piece of Coconut White Card with water. I then sprinkled Plum Twist and Golden Mint CS Pixie Powder over the surface and out aside to dry. Once dry, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the Woodware Paris Collage using Clear Perfect Medium. I embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a die from Sue Wilson's Essential Rectangles Die Set and inked around the edges with Plum Cobbler CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I popped it onto a mat of Black Card.
For the background, I popped a little of the same 2 Pixie Powders onto a piece of copy paper and rubbed the Woodware Memories Stamp into the powder. I misted the stamp with water and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I repeated this process 4 times to completely cover my background. I inked around the edges with Plum Cobbler Colour Cloud. I matted onto Black Card and onto a Card Blank.
I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Warm Fuzzy Greetings onto a piece of my Pixie Powder background using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using another die from Sue's Essential Rectangles Die Set. I meant to ink around the edges but forgot 😒. I matted onto Black Card.
I completed my card, adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner.

Hi Julia, glad to hear the migraines have settled down. They can be so frustrating - mine usually give me squiffy vision (without the alcohol - I know! I'm a cheap date, LOL). I love this card, but I am with Craftynetty - I'm too chicken to have a go yet ..... :-)
