Best Wishes

Hi Bloggers.

Catching up with orders on my website today - all orders from the weekend and yesterday will be sent out today. Hopefully, I will be able to load some more new stock onto my website today too.

Here's today's card -

I didn't quite get to finish this card on Sunday night - I really don't know where the time goes!

For the background, I have embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Creative Expressions Wild Roses Embossing Folder. I ran a strip of patterned paper from the Craft Consortium English Garden 12 x 12 Paper Pad top to bottom and added a few Craft Consortium Rhinestone Gems.

The paper I have used has lots of little birds on it so I chose an area with a bird on a branch on it to use as a topper and cut it out using #2 die from the Spellbinders Astoria Decorative Accents Die Set. I cut out the #5 die in the Spellbinders Astoria Labels out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with Pretty in Pink Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut the the #1 die from the Astoria Decorative Accents out of Coconut White Card and again inked through the die with Pretty in Pink. It looks like a tassel to me and it has some 'hands' so it's easy to tuck it under another die cut as I have done on this card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Petite Lavish Sentiments Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Watering Can Archival. I cut it out using #2 die from the Spellbinders Savoy Labels Die Set and inked through the die with Pretty in Pink. I cut the #2 die from the Spellbinders Savoy Decorative Accents Die Set out of Coconut White Card and again inked through the die with Pretty in Pink.

I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

I have some more paper pads on order - the English Garden pad featured on this card and John and Sue's new pads. I'll let you know when they're back in stock.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
