I have a demo card to give away today. I thought I'd throw in the pieces from a mini demo I did too.
The demo card varies slightly from the original (in this post). The sentiment is cut out using the Justrite Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set instead of the Justrite Vintage Labels 10 Dies and I made a messy background.
To recap on the background, I started by randomly inking through the Feathered Mask with Chic Viola Colour Cloud using a Mini Smoothie. I then repeated the process with the Circuit Board Mask and Lucky Clover Distress Ink. With the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped a section of the Justrite Butterfly Background with Chic Viola Colour Cloud applied using a Mini Smoothie. Then, again with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped a section of the Justrite Garden View Background. I ran the piece through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Couture Creations Feather Frenzy Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Chic Viola Colour Cloud. I runned Pearl Moon Gilding Wax over the surface, left it a few minutes to dry and then buffed it up using a dry wet wipe.
You can read how I made the roses card in this post. The sample that's up for grabs uses Chic Viola Colour Cloud.
To go into the draw to win, please leave a lovely comment below. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday morning (a day later than usual). Please be sure to check back to see if you have won. The winner will receive both samples.
Phill Martin and I are off down to Taunton today. We're running workshops all day tomorrow and demoing all day on Sunday. I understand that 2 tickets have become available for one of the demo slots on Sunday so if you're interested, please contact Craftasmic directly. It's bound to be a fun weekend!
I've a little stock of the Craft Consortium English Garden 12 x 12 Paper Pad. You can see it here. I've also added some new Spellbinders Dies and Embossing Folders and some of Lisa Horton's Stamps and MDF (just click on the highlighted text to go to the relevant section on my website).
Thanks for stopping by.
