Here's today's card -
The background is made with new CS Pixie Powders. I used a piece of Watercolour Card. I placed the Emeralds Mask on it then added some Plum Twist and Golden Mint Pixie Powders, tapping the end of the bottle so that only a little came out. Leaving the mask in place, I misted over the top with water. This wakes the powders up - some of the powders split into other colours and with all of the colours you get a lovely shimmer from the mica. So very cool!
I cut a frame out of Coconut White Card using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Squares. I cut a mat using Sue's Double Pierced Squares Set B and another mat using Sue's Double Pierced Squares.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearl Corners.

Hello Julia.
ReplyDeleteLovely Card. I love this background, I can see that the Pixie Powders are going to be another have to have product (in all the colours, lol). Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes
If the pixie powders are anything like the colour bursts, they powder gets everywhere and you don't always see where. I have to cover my worktop with a sheet to protect the product that is on there from the powder. I must admit they do create a lovely effect.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, This is gorgeous !! I love your background with the mask and pixie powders, lovely colours, and I love how you have placed the pearl corners.
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Patricia xx
