Missing You Already!

Hi Bloggers.

Well, that was a busy One Day Special. They really were gorgeous stamps and dies. I've sold out of some myself and I can't get more of some of them at the moment. I'll re-order as soon as I can.

Here's today's card -

I started by drawing around the smallest circle die in the Justrite Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set with a pencil onto Coconut White Card. I then stamped around the circle with the 3 rose image from the Justrite Doodled Roses Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I coloured the flowers in by using the pointy end of a Mini Smoothie and Pretty in Pink Colour Cloud. I coloured the leaves using Shabby Shutters Distress Marker. I cut it out using the largest rectangle die in the Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Set and inked through the die with Pretty in Pink.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using the smallest circular die in Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set and inked through the die with Prettyin Pink Colour Cloud. I cut the larger circle die out of Black Card for my mat.

I wrapped some Black Satin Ribbon around the lower section of my card. I tied a bow using 3 lengths of the ribbon and added a Lilac Craft Consortium Resin Flower.

I assembled the card as shown adding a couple of 5mm White Pearls to the top 2 corners.

    I'm working my way through the recordings of your Hochanda shows which are full of inspiration. I love that you showed how you coloured the peonies, colouring has never been my forte but I just might manage to do that.

    First I Would Like To Say Fantastic Shows, You Go Into Great Detail Which I Just Love.
    I Love Today's Card I'm A Huge Fan Of "JustRight Stamps" They Are Just Stunning And Stamp Perect I Purchased A Set Where You Stamp With A Pale Ink Then Go Over With Another Stamp In The Darker Colour Giving A Great Shade Effect I'm Not Too Great With These But I Will Continue To Practice.

    Caught up with the show where you demoed this late last night and really enjoyed it. You showed that you don't have to be an expert with colours (Hells bells, I do hate the term colourist so I won't use it!) to get a lovely end result.. The simplicity of the bow does not detract from the beauty of the stamp.
