Back to Christmas today with a Spellbinders card -
I cut the large frame die from the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Card Creator Holly Frame Die Set out of Rich Red Card. I then cut 2 mats - one out of Vintage Gold and one out of Rich Red Card using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basics B.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Peace on Earth Stamp Set using Vermillion Archival. I cut it out using another 5 x 7 Matting Basics B Die.
I cut a flourish from the Holly Frame Die Set out of Vintage Gold Card and made a little poinsettia out of Rich Red Card using the same die set, adding a little 3mm Cream Pearl to the centre.
I added a couple of Cream Pearl Corners.
I made some little poinsettias out of Vintage Gold Card and added them to the corners of the frame.
Really simple - the dies do all the work. If you don't like red - what about using Rich Plum or Baby Pink instead? Would also look lovely if you used Milk and Coconut White with the Gold.
Lots to do today - really MUST do some housework (hate it! - well, let's face it, that might not actually get done!), I have to get all packed for my day with Phill at Stoneleigh tomorrow and this afternoon I'm heading down to Southampton to pick Kathryn up.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Morning Julia, a fabulous Christmas card and very traditional colour but as you say it could be done in any colour and it would look so different if you do the same card for a lot of people. Don't worry about housework it will still be there when we're not.
