Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I started by stamping across the top and the bottom of a piece of Coconut White Card with one of the borders from the Justrite Ribbon, Tape and Lace Clear Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Openwork Mask, hanging the edge of the mask outside the machine. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.
I stamped the Justrite Rose Postcard Background using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I placed a Spellbinders Classic Squares over a section of the image and drew around the outside edge with a pencil, missing out the leaves and butterfly. I removed the die and cut around the leaves and butterfly, cutting in further than the pencil line. I added the die to the image again, making sure the leaves and the butterflies were hanging over the die i.e. away from the cutting edge. I then ran it though the Grand Calibur. I cut a Spellbinders Luscious Labels One out of Black Card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Pansies in Spring Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Dies and cut a Spellbinders A2 Devine Eleoquence Die out of Black Card.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Black Silky Crush Ribbon and added a White Crystal Sparkler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Black Pearl PVA around the edges.
I'l be back tomorrow with a sneak peek from Thursday's shows.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Lots of comments on here about stamped pansies on the card. There aren't any! The image is from the Rose Postcard Background, as it says above, so - the flowers are roses not pansies. I only used the Pansy stamp set for the sentiment.
