Let your Hair Down

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the frame, I cut dies #4 and #6 together from the Sue Wilson Classic Adorned Rectangles out of Coconut White Card. I stamped the flower head from one of the stamps in the Woodware Small Fennel Stamp Set around the frame using Jet Black Archival.

I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Hand Drawn Sentiments Stamp Set onto another piece of Coconut White Card using Jet Black Archival I cut it out using die #3 from the same die set. I popped a piece of Black Card behind it. I popped my frame on top using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess using scissors.

I matted onto Coconut White Card, Black Card and then popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I made a flower out of Coconut White Card and Black Card using Sue's Striped Nasturtium Die Set and added stamens cut using Sue's Dendelion Clocks Die Set. I popped a Small Black Circle Dazzler into the centre. I cut a couple of leaves out of Black Card using Sue's Laurel Leaves.

I completed my card adding a Small Black Circle Dazzler to each corner.

  16. Another lovely card. Thank you.

Now back into the land of fast broadband after a sojourn in Wales clearing out my late mum's flat and have managed to catch up with two of last Monday's shows which I thoroughly enjoyed. Yet another technique shown with pixie powders, that of brushing to make a large background which is really effective. I assume you used coconut white card rather than watercolour card for this. Another technique to add to my note book, thanks for that.

Have a successful time at Stitches.
