Had a great day yesterday with Mr. Martin - lovely to meet so many lovely crafters. I'm bushed though so today I'm hopefully spending a lazy day with Kathryn.

Here's today's card -

For this card, I've used Sue's Fire & Ice Technique (see her YouTube Video here) with the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Mistletoe Card Front. I used Mulled Wine Gilding Flakes and Diamond Sprinkles Glitter Jewels on top. However, to do something a little different, I cut the outside edges off the background and but it into 3 panels which I glued onto Coconut White Card using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.

I popped all 3 panels onto a piece of Coconut White Card which I had run through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Frosty Swirls Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Peace Joy Love Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Holly Tags and inked through the die with Antique Linen Distress Ink using a Smoothie.

I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Off White Satin Ribbon and added a Dazzler Setting and a Light Brown Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White 8mm Pearls to the corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
