Hi Bloggers.
Here's another sample from tomorrow's shows -
I used Milk Card for this one. For the background, I randomly stamped the Creative Expressions Hexagon Script Stamp (with the stamp in my hand) using Aged Mahogany Distress Ink. Then I used the same method to randomly stamp the Creative Expressions Rose Background Stamp using Fired Brick Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and popped it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Turkish Delight Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany using Cut n Dry Foam.
I cut the second smallest Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One out of Burgundy Card. At the emboss stage I added the Spellbinders A4 Garden Lattice M-Bossability Folder. I added this to my background and then wrapped some Burgundy/Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon around the centre.
I stamped the image from the Creative Expressions Party Ladies Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured her in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Marigold, Scarlet Flame and Dark Spice from the Autumn Shades set and Warm Delight from the Skin Tones Set. I cut her out using the smallest of the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals dies and inked through the die with Fired Brick Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I tied a bow using the Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and added a Red Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Pearl Swirl and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia Aaaah how I love your backgrounds. All those little blue letters in your blog have been stretching my budget recently.......!!! I love this card, everything about it (but the US spelling.. Mmmmm... it's the first time it's bothered me -actually, thinking about it, it's the first time a spelling difference
ReplyDelete(I really have trouble writing in your blog, it hangs on me if I try to change anything) what I was trying to say was it sis the first time I have seen a spelling difference in a card sentiment. I would have to give that sentiment a miss I think! But it doesn't detract from your card too much which is absolutely gorgeous! Hugs anf
