Hi Bloggers.
I have now got Sue's new Embossing Folders in stock plus the Project Book Volume 3 and some re-stocks of some of the Finishing Touches Collection in Sue's Die Range. For details, please see this post.
Here's today's card -
For the main background on this one, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with Sue's Quilted Flower Embossing Folder. I inked around the edges with Dusty Concord and wrapped a piece of White Satin Edged Organza around the centre.
I stamped the Justrite Lace Oval Frame Background using Perfect Medium. I dusted Tropic Blue, Golden Malachite and Violet Frost Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Garden Flora Mica Spray Set over the frame. I popped it onto a black mat.
I stamped the single rose from the Floral Spray Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using the the Violet Frost and Golden Malachite Mica Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Opulent Ovals and inked through the die with Dusty Concord. I cut a black mat out using Spellbinders Floral Ovals.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Earthenware Vase using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 4 and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.
I tied a bow using White Satin Edged Organza and added a Lavender Dazzler and a couple of Decorative Stick Pins.
I assembled the card as shown adding a White 8mm Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Lilac PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia, the mica really shines on the background and the black framing is something I must remember to try as it seems quite popular at the moment and really makes the topper stand out, best wishes Jackie D
