Spellbinders One Day Special starts this evening

Hi Bloggers.

I'm launching a One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm with the first half of the Wedding Collection from Spellbinders designed by Becca Feeken. These are gorgeous dies which are suitable for many occasions, not just weddings.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I've embossed a piece of Milk Card using the Creative Expressions Blossom Brocade Embossing Folder. I added some Cream Pearl Corners.

I've used the Spellbinders Regal Allure Die Set - I cut the largest die out of Vintage Gold Card, the insert die out of Milk Card and the embellishment die out of Vintage Gold Card twice.


I made a couple of shoes using Spellbinders Ladies Shoe Die Set and added an Ivory Craft Consortium Resin Flower to each shoe.

I will demonstrate how to make the shoes in the launch show this evening. If you're on Freeview, it looks like the show is being repeated at midnight so set your recorder if you have one. You can also watch online at hochanda.com where there's also catchup available.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

I found a Youtube video from CHA in January where Becca shows you round her collection (wish I had found it earlier!). Anyway - here it is so you can have a look. Some of the dies are on today's ODS and the rest will be featured on 27th April.

    Hi Julia. It's certainly all go for you today and it's starting with a very beautiful card. The box is set to record all your shows and I'm gutted that I'll miss the launch tonight as I won't be home until about 9pm! Love any sort of shoes so these dies are going to be a must for me.     Lovely card Julia. Looking forward to seeing your shows. Can't watch Hochanda at the moment. They are doing maintenance so had to miss Sue's show at 9am. Hope it's working soon. I usually watch on line on the iPad but cannot get it today so far.

    I just love the colour on this card, quite different for today...I have struggled with Hochanda for a while now, no longer on Freeview 39....very unpredictable on the computer, keeps buffereing...so not good at all at the moment...A real disappointment as I prefer to watch on the telly, what are they doing about it ??? .....luv Ursula xx

    I very much love Becca Feekens style and her dies are so beautiful and so elegant. I watched her show this set a few months back and even down to the wedding dress that she made/decorated with her beautiful creations was stunning. You have just shown another stunning interpretation of her dies and what a fantastic job you have done of it to. Your card is beautiful Julia right down to your roses that you have put on to the wee shoes and the pearl corners that just set it all off to a T.
