Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I randomly inked through sections of the Elegance Mask with Dried Marigold Distress Ink. Then I randomly stamped one of the swirls from the Heartfelt Creations Sunkissed Fleur Swirls Stamp Set using Dried Marigold. Finally, with the stamp in my hand, I added the Justrite Sweet Lace Background using Tattered Rose Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Extra Flint Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Dried Marigold using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the image from the Heartfelt Creations Dahlia Bouquet Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Golden Fish Lustre Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Stately Circles and inked through the die with Dried Marigold. I cut the next size up in the Stately Circles dies and again inked through the die with Dried Marigold.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Natures Sentiments using Perfect Medium and embossed with Golden Fish Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and inked through the die with Dried Marigold.
I tied a bow using White Crochet Ribbon and added a Frosted Peach Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Morning Julia, a lovely card and this stamp from the Dahlia
ReplyDeleteset is my fav. I'm not a lover of dried marigold distress ink
though I would do it in blues maybe or dust concord but that's just me
I'm sure a lot of people love it.

ReplyDeleteHello Julia, a beautiful card, love the colour, dried marigold is one of my favourites, but I think I need some re-inkers, as some of my older ink pads seem a bit dry. Have a great long weekend. Bx
ReplyDeleteI've never bothered to buy the Dried Marigold ink pad as I didn't think I was very keen on it but it's certainly growing on me. It's now on my need list.
