Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I ran some Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Caramel Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
The sentiment and the frame are from the Justrite For All You Do Vintage Labels Three Clear Stamp Set. I popped them both on an acrylic block and stamped using Perfect Medium. I embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Three Dies and inked through the die with Caramel Ink.
I cut 2 Spellbinders Persian Motifs out of Gold Card. I mounted them on top of each other off-setting them slightly.
I dusted some black card with my anti-static bag. I cut both of the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Lattice Swirls out. I inked through the dies with Perfect Medium, removed the dies, added Gold Detail Powder and heat set.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Black Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Black Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Find Joy in the Little Things
Hi Bloggers.
A card from Monday's shows today -
I used Milk Card for this one and some Baby Blue Pearlescent Card that I had leftover from when I had a shop. For the background, I misted through the Fretwork Mask with Cosmic Shimmer Egyptian Blue Vintage Mister. I dried it with my heat tool (I'm impatient!). Next, I randomly stamped the Daisy Swirl Stamp using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
I cut a Spellbinders Butterfly Corner out of Pearlescent Card.
I made a scrunched flower using the middle size curvy die from the Spellbinders Petite Labels 1 Die D-Lite adding a little Tumbled Glass to the tips of the petals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Classic Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Floral Ribbon Threader and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass.
I cut the largest die from the Spellbinders Ornate Squares die set. At the emboss stage, I added the Funky Mask.
I cut a couple of butterflies from the Butterfly Corners Set (they're actually ribbon threaders) and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass. I shaped the wings with my fingers and added some Cream 3mm Pearls to the bodies.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Golden Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hello
Hi Bloggers.
A card from last week's Pick of the Day today -
For the background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Peacock Pleasure Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Denim Adirondack using Cut n Dry Foam.
The sentiment is from the JustriteVintage Banners Clear Stamp Set and the frame is from the Justrite Ornate Happiness Squares Clear Stamp Set. I popped them both of my acrylic block, stamped using the Denim Adirondack Dye Ink and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ornate Squares and inked through the die with Denim Ink.
I popped a piece of Self Adhesive Sheet onto some Ivory Card (so I can tell which side to peel off) and cut the largest die in the Spellbinders Ornate Squares Die Set - don't emboss!. I peeled off the backing and added Cosmic Shimmer Polished Silk Glitter in Brilliant Blue.
I stamped a couple of flowers from the Heartfelt Creations Daisy Patch Flowers Pre Cut Set using Denim Adirondack and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut them out using the Heartfelt Creations Daisy Patch Dies. I popped a piece of Self Adhesive Sheet onto some Ivory Card and die cut the same 2 flower sizes. I peeled the backing off and added Brilliant Blue Polished Silk Glitter. I cut some leaves using the Spellbinders Foliage die set, again from card with self adhesive on it. This time I added Sea Green Cosmic Shimmer Polished Silk Glitter.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Lots of you have asked about the Burgundy card used in yesterday's card. I have already had that in my Amazon shop. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued. I did try and get it included in the Pick of the Day but there wasn't sufficient stock.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Wishing You All the Best
Hi Bloggers.
Today I have a card from yesterday's shows. I know a lot of you want to see the cards from the Pick of the Day last week, I will mix it up a little over the next couple of weeks so you get to see them all.
For the background, I ran some Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Smooch Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I rubbed Deep Red Gilding Wax all over the design using my finger. I then buffed it up with a dry wetwipe. The wax really shines.
I dusted a piece of Burgundy Card with my anti-staic bag. I inked a Spellbinders Gold Ivy die with Perfect Medium (I was a bit heavy-handed - but that's ok) and popped it on top of my Burgundy Card and ran it through the Grand Calibur. After embossing, I carefully removed the card from the die and added Cosmic Shimmer Lava Black Embossing Powder from the Metallics & Darks Set and heat set. I cut 3 Spellbinders Medallion 8 Die D-Lites out of Milk Card (I didn't use the tiny centre die) and inked through the die with Fired Brick Distress Distress Ink.
I scored across the die cuts - at every point and every recess. I cut to the centre along the same line on each of the die cuts and then mounted and valley folded them - all the same way. I glued them together using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue and then glued it on top of the burgundy die cut. I cut a flower out of burgundy card using Spellbinders Ornate Squares. I inked through the die with Perfect Medium, removed it from the die, added Lava Black Powder and heat set.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Everyday Expressions Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Lava Black. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ornamental Tags 2 Die D-Lite.
I tied a bow using Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and added a Black Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Spellbinders Mayhem Shows today
Hi Bloggers.
That's the name of the shows today at 11am till 1pm with Dean and 5pm with Hayley. Here's one of the demos I've prepared for the shows -
It's as if this Tatty Button Stamp was made for this die when in fact the image came before the die. The inspiration for this card came from Tracey Laughton and the card you can view on her blog here.
For the background, I simply popped a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Nuevo Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then went around the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
The Tatty Button Swingtime stamp image is of Tatty swinging from a tree (obviously) but I just wanted her on the swing and not the tree and I didn't want to be bothered cutting her out so, I masked off the tree bit of the stamp, inked up with Jet Black Archival, removed the mask (important - I've forgotten to do that so many times!) and stamped. I embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. I coloured in using Matt Drawing Inks (more on order for my Amazon Shop). I used Marigold, Umber and Dark Spice from the Autumn Shades Set, Meadow Lime from the Garden Twist Set and Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set.
I made a template by cutting out the main die from the Spellbinders Just Swingin' die set (with the outer frame die). I laid this over the Tatty image, placed the outer die on top and cut out. I cut the main die with the outer die out of Green Card. The wax paper really helps with this die. I removed the die cut from the dies and dusted with an anti-static bag. I placed the die cut back into the die and inked through the die with Perfect Medium - just on the tree bits, not the frame. I removed from the die, added Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper Metallic Embossing Powder from the Metallics & Darks Set and heat set.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Classic Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics A and cut a green mat out using Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics B (think that's the right way round!).
I cut a Spellbinders Flower Box Die D-Lite out of Coconut White Card. I inked through the die with Dusty Concord, Fired Brick and Mustard Seed Distress Inks for the flowers and Peeled Paint for the leaves. I removed the card from the die, masked off the area above the basket weave box and then inked the box with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Medium Square Dazzler from the Assorted Square Dazzlers Pack.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Hope you can join me for the shows today.
Oh, and in answer to your questions - no, I do not really have time to move! Yes, I am moving locally. It's next week I move - 4th June. I am selling off some stuff on ebay, if anyone is interested - link in right-hand side bar.
Thanks for stopping by.

Life is Good at the Beach
Hi Bloggers.
This one of my favourite cards from the Pick of the Day - probably because it has a Lustre Embossing Powder on it!
I used Milk Card for this one - the embossing powder takes on a different shade when using Milk Card rather than White Card. I laid the Swirl Border Mask across the top of my card and inked around it using Cloudy Blue Adirondack Dye Ink with Cut n Dry Foam. Then I randomly stamped some shells from the Justrite At the Beach Oval Medallion Labels Stamp Set using Cloudy Blue. I also stamped the border from the same stamp set across the top and bottom of the card. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Peacock Pleasure Embossing Folder. I ran it though a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Denim Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the main image from the stamp set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Lake Lustre Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Oval Nested Medallions Labels and inked through the die with Cloudy Blue (it's very subtle).
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Arctic Lake Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ornate Squares and inked through the die with Cloudy Blue.
I stamped some shells, again from the same stamp set, using Perfect Medium and embossed with Arctic Lake Lustre. I cut them out using scissors and added them to the card as shown.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
I'm moving house the next week and I think I may frame this one and pop it in the bathroom. What do you think?
I'll be back tomorrow with a card from the tomorrow's shows.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing You Flowers & Sunshine
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I used Burgundy Card. I dusted it with my anti-static bag. I inked up the Justrite Autumn Damask Background with Perfect Medium and placed the card dusted side down onto the stamp. Keeping a couple of fingers in place, I rubbed all over the card to transfer the image. I carefully removed the card, added Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.
I cut 2 borders out of Burgundy Card using Spellbinders Persian Accents and added them to the top and bottom of my background.
I stamped the image from the Justrite Grateful Hearts Vintage Labels Two Clear Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Two Dies and inked through the die using Caramel Adirondack Dye Ink with Cut n Dry Foam. I coloured in mostly using Matt Drawing Inks. I used Blue Cotton from the Soft Velvet Set, Marigold & Scarlet Flame from the Autumn Shades Set (more on order) and Soft Moss from the Garden Twist Set (more on order). I popped a little Pale Gold Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Metallics Mica Spray Set onto a tile, added a little water and used it to paint the small flourishes top and bottom. I went around the very edge of the die cut with Raisin Adirondack Dye Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Grateful Hearts set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using Justrite Nested Oval Medallions Dies and inked through the die with Caramel Adirondack. I went around the very edge of the die cut with Raisin Adirondack.
I tied a bow using Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and added a Black Dazzler (more on order of both those items).
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

The Circle of Love Never Ends
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card from this week's Pick of the Day.
For the background, I randomly stamped the floral heart stamp from the Heartfelt Creations Passage to my Heart Stamp set using Milled Lavender Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Dream Embossing Folder. I ran it though a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Milled Lavender using Cut n Dry Foam.
Using the same stamp, I made the border by stamping the point of the heart as shown using Jet Black Archival. I inked around the edges of the panel with Milled Lavender.
I stamped the image from the Justrite Circle of Love Vintage Labels Three Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Clover and Summer Haze from the Soft Velvet Set, Meadow Lime from the Garden Twist Set and Sunflower from the Summer Fayre Set. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Three Dies and inked through the die with Milled Lavender. I cut a Spellbinders Persian Motif out of lilac card.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Antique Tags One Dies which just happens to have a die in it which co-ordinates with Vintage Labels Three. I inked through the die with Milled Lavender.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Pearl Swirl and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Life to the Fullest
Hi Bloggers.
Phew! Busy couple of days. Have to admit I'm feeling a bit jet-lagged today. I hope you enjoyed the shows and managed to get yourself some goodies to play with.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I laid the Delicate Border Mask across the top of my card and inked around it using Peach Bellini Adirondack Dye Ink. I moved the mask down the card and repeated the inking twice more. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Justrite Floral Flourishes Background Stamp using Peach Bellini. There's a couple of lovely little scroll stamps in the Justrite Ornate Happiness Squares Clear Stamp Set. I used one of them and randomly stamped it using Denim Adirondack Dye Ink - I stamped it twice on to copy paper before stamping on my background each time to lighten the colour. I then scraped some Denim Ink around the edges using a piece of Cut n Dry Foam.
I popped the sentiment and the frame from the Justrite Live, Laugh, Love Vintage Labels Two Clear Stamp Set onto my acrylic block and stamped using Jet Black Archival. I embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. The 'LIVE' and 'LOVE' sentiments at the top and bottom of the frame are separate stamps - there are some others in the set too. As they're clear, it's easy to stamp them in afterwards.
I coloured the wooden effect section of the frame using Peach Bellini. The other bits are coloured with Matt Drawing Inks - Blue Cotton from the Soft Velvet Set and Marigold from the Autumn Shades Set. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Two Dies.
I made a scrunched up flower using Justrite Vintage Labels Three and added a little Denim Ink to the tops of the petals. I cut a couple of leaves out of blue card using Spellbinders Foliage die set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Blue around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hope you enjoyed the shows last night. 8 more scheduled for today.
There are some Nautical themed stamp sets on the shows and this is one of the samples I've made using them -
For the background, I stamped the crab stamp from the Justrite Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels Stamp Set using Pebble Adirondack Dye Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then went around the edges with Raisin Adirondack Dye Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I wrapped a piece of Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain around the centre.
I stamped the Lobster Label Stamp from the same stamp set using Raisin Adirondack and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Oval Medallion Labels and inked through the die with Pebble Adirondack. I coloured in the border around the stamp with Blue Cotton Matt Drawing Ink from the Soft Velvet Set.
I stamped the Map Label Stamp from the Justrite Anchors Away Clear Stamp Set using Raisin Adirondack and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using another Oval Medallion Label die and inked through the die with Pebble Adirondack. Again, I coloured the little border around the edge with Blue Cotton Adirondack.
I stamped the sentiment from the Oceanside Stamp Set using Raisin Adirondack and embossed with clear powder. I cut it out using a die from the Justrite Vintage Label & Banner Die Set and inked through the die with Pebble Adirondack.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Red Button in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Hope you can tune into some of the shows today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
