Hope you had a good Bank Holiday. I spent the weekend prepping for my Pick of the Day on 21st May. As usual, didn't get as much done as I wanted to!

Here's today's card -

For the background, I inked through the Moroccan Mask with Dusty Concord Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I moved the mask so I could cover the whole area. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I stamped the Ledger Stamp using Dusty Concord and then the Rose Background using Victorian Velvet. I made sure the ink was dry and then inked around the edges with Dusty Concord.

I stamped the Zentangled Flower 3 times using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I selected just 3 of the colours from the Cosmic Shimmer Summer Shades Mica Spray Set and coloured the flowers in. I alternated the colours of the stem and flower centre, the petals and the leaves. I cut them out with scissors and went around the edges with a Black Promarker to hide any white bits.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the flower, again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I coloured it with the same 3 mica powders. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
