I like your Style

Hi Bloggers.

Hope you're having a good Bank Holiday weekend.

Here's today's card -

I wanted to share this card with you to show that it's perfectly ok to use different border masks to create a background. I popped my tan mat onto my base plate, then a piece of Burgundy Card.  I laid the Delicate, Swirl and Elegance Masks across the card, popped the pink embossing plate on top and ran through the Grand Calibur. Background done!

I stamped the Fishtail Frock using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Marigold and Scarlet Flame from the Autumn Shades Set and a little Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set. I cut it out using scissors and went around the edges with a Black Promarker to hide any white bits.

I cut a Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle out of White and out of Black Card. On each of them I added the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder at the emboss stage.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the frock using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Black Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
