There's Only One Like You

This is one of my favourite cards from the shows on Tuesday.

For the background, I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with my anti-static bag and placed it face up on my tan mat, which was lying on my base plate. I inked all over the Knitted Mask with Perfect Medium and placed it face down onto my card. I popped the pink embossing plate on top and ran it through the Grand Calibur. I carefully removed the mask from the card. The Perfect Medium had transferred to the de-bossed pattern. I added Cosmic Shimmer Pink Mallow Lustre Embossing Powder and heat set.


I stamped the Daisy Swirl using Perfect Medium and embossed with Pink Mallow Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge and inked through the die with Spun Sugar Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.

I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Messages Pre Cut Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Pink Mallow Lustre. I cut it out using one of the smaller dies from the Spellbinders Ornate Artisan Tags & Accents Die Set and inked through the die with Spun Sugar.

I made 2 ribbon flowers out of Pink/White Striped Grosgrain following Sue's Ribbon Flower Tutorial. I cut some 'leaves' using the Spellbinders Ornate Artisan Tags & Accents Die Set. On one pair, I inked through the die with Spun Sugar. On the other pair, I dusted them with my anti-static bag, popped them back in to the die and inked through the die with Perfect Medium. I removed them from the dies and added Pink Mallow Lustre and heat set.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges.
