Hi Bloggers.
Today I have shows on Create & Craft at 2pm (with Dean) and 7pm (with Dawn). Hope you can join me and perhaps email in to the studio if you have time.
Today's card is a very simple one but I think it shows off the Zentangled Flower and Arctic Pearl Lustre Embossing Powder really well.
For the background, I ran some Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Petal Pleasures Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I wrapped some Cream Silky Crush Ribbon around the centre.
I stamped the Zentangled Flower using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Pearl Lustre Embossing Powder. I stamped the flower head again. I cut both the whole flower and the flower head out using scissors. Then (an idea I borrowed from Sam Poole) I curled the petals and glued the heads together off-setting them slightly.
I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Message Pre Cut Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Arctic Pearl Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge and also cut the largest die from the same die set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pealescent PVA in White around the edges.
Please scroll down to the previous post if you're interested in stock updates in my Amazon Store.
Hope to see you later.
Thanks for stopping by.

Back in stock!
Hi Bloggers.
Just to let you know that all the colours of the Creative Expressions Gilding Wax are now back in stock in my Amazon Store here.
I have restocked some of the Singles Stamps which you can see here.
I was asked if I would stock some of the Border Masks and I have the 3 that I had on last weeks shows here. I've also got in a brand new 6 x 6 mask that Ali launched at Ally Pally which works brilliantly with the Polished Silk Glitter -
Funky
The Party Ladies and Elegant Ladies stamps sets are back in stock again - probably for the last time.
Finally, I have been able to get hold of some more Decorative Stick Pins.
All for now.

Sneaky Peak from tomorrows shows
Hi Bloggers.
I always struggle deciding which card to share first before a show and this time is no exception as I am rather pleased with quite a few of the samples I've made for tomorrow's shows. I hope will like them too.
As mentioned last week, I have another 4 Cosmic Shimmer Lustre Embossing Powders on the show. You loved the ones last week and they sold out in the second show. I think you're going to love the ones this week even more so be quick if you want them (all are currently available in my Amazon Store here). Here they are on White & Black Card -
Ok, so I've decided to share this card first -
For the background, I used Coconut White Card. I inked through the Knitted Mask with Spun Sugar Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Rose Background using Spun Sugar again. I made sure the ink was dry and then popped it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Great Almanzo Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Spun Sugar.
I stamped the Zentangled Heart using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Pink Mallow Lustre Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Fancy Ribbon Threader and inked through the die with Spun Sugar. I threaded some Blue White American Seam Binding through the slits in the die cut.
I cut the largest of the Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge dies out of Pastel Pink Card and at the emboss stage added the Knitted Mask.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Zentangled Flower using Perfect Medium and embossed with Pink Mallow Powder. I cut it out using a Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge die and inked through the die with Spun Sugar. I cut some Pink/White Striped Grosgrain lengthways and made a ribbon flower as per Sue's Ribbon Flower Tutorial.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Vintage Pink around the edges and a Pearl Swirl.
Thanks for stopping by.

Best Wishes
Hi Bloggers.
Another of my favourites from last weeks shows and it features the Fishtail Frock and Wrought Iron Corner Stamps again which will hopefully both be back in stock in my Amazon Store during this week.
For the background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Milled Lavender using Cut n Dry Foam.
For the panel borders, I stamped the Wrought Iron Corner using Milled Lavender.
I stamped the Fishtail Frock using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Clover and Summer Haze from the Soft Velvet set (I've been unable to order that for a while as it's currently out of stock at the warehouse). I used a little Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set for the top of the manequin. I cut it out with scissors and went around the edges with a black promarker to hide any white bits.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Wrought Iron Corner using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 and inked through the die with Milled Lavender. I cut the side pieces off the die cut.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges and some Pearls on the panels.
I'll post a sneak peak from this Tuesday's shows tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.

Have a Beautiful Day
Hi Bloggers
A Peach Card today. I was hoping to demo this on Tuesday morning but we ran out of time.
For the background, I inked through the Elegance Border mask (on order) with Dried Marigold Distress Ink - I did this 3 times across the card. I then stamped the Beaded Swirl stamp around the background using Tattered Rose Distress Ink.
I stamped the Heart and Soul stamp (more on order) using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Orange Lustre Embossing Powder (this powder turns green on dark card). I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I popped some Sunflower from the Summer Fayre Set onto a tile. I added a little Marigold from the Autumn Shades Set and mixed them together to create an orange colour. I used the brush from the Marigold pot to colour in making sure I dried it before returning it to the pot. I cut the image out using Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles and inked through the die with Dried Marigold.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Vintage Corset (again more on order) using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Lapis Orange Lustre Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 and inked through the die with Dried Marigold.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Frosted Peach Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Golden Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

Sisters are Forever
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I used Milk Card. I stamped the Blossom Heart Stamp several times using Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Super Powder Puff Embossing Folder (more on order). I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Spun Sugar using Cut n Dry Foam.
I popped the 'Sisters are Forever' sentiment inside the frame (both from the Justrite Forever Friends Stamp Set) and stamped using Jet Black Archival then embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Beaded Squares and inked through the die with Spun Sugar. I trimmed off all the 'beads' with my trimmer to make a square with rounded corners. I then cut another Beaded Square and again inked through the die with Spun Sugar. I left this one intact and layered the stamped one on top using 3d Foam Pads.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Cream Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Pink Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Golden Pearl around the edges and some Cream Pearls in the top left-hand corner.
Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Wishes
Hi Bloggers.
I didn't quite get to finish this demo card in the second show on Tuesday so I thought I'd go through it with you today.
The background I made in the show actually turned out better than the original - it happens that way sometimes! For the background, I used a piece of Coconut White Card. With the stamp in my hand I randomly stamped the Justrite Fleur de Lis Background Stamp using Fired Brick Distress Ink. I filled in the gaps by stamping the Beaded Swirl Stamp using Aged Mahogany Distress Ink. I edged the whole piece with Fired Brick using Cut n Dry Foam.
For the border on the left, I stamped the Curly Corner (I have ordered some!) using Jet Black Archival. I edged the panel with Fired Brick and mounted it on to Black Card.
I cut 2 of the largest Spellbinders Beaded Squares out of Black Card and layered them on top of one another as shown. I stamped the Classic Rose Stem (more on order) using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Marigold from the Autumn Shades Set and Soft Moss from the Garden Twist Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles and inked through the die with Fired Brick.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Forever Friends Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I then stamped the frame from the same set around it. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 and inked through the die with Fired Brick. I trimmed the sides from the die cut.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Berry Red around the edges and some Black Pearls in the right-hand corners.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just Because
Hi Bloggers.
Thanks for all your comments and emails yesterday - much appreciated as always.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I laid the Swirl Border Mask across some Coconut White Card and inked around it with Dusty Concord Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I did this twice more. I then ran the piece through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Dusty Concord.
I stamped the Blossom Heart Pre Cut Stamp using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Tropic Violet Lustre Embossing Powder. I removed the excess mica with a dry wetwipe and coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Purple Lilac from the Summer Fayre Set and Soft Moss from the Garden Twist Set. I cut it out with scissors. I cut the largest of the Spellbinders Beaded Squares out of purple card and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Curly Corner using Perfect Medium and embossed with Tropic Violet. I then stamped the frame from the Justrite Forever Friends set around it. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3, inked through the die with Dusty Concord and trimmed the ends off.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Lavender Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Have a Beautiful Day
Hi Bloggers.
I have shows on Create & Craft today at 10am (with Dean) and 3pm (with Joanne). Hope you can join me and email in if you can.
I've already shown you the embossing powders on the show in Saturday's Post, today I'm sharing another card made with the Fishtail Frock Stamp. I can't demo this one as the Soft Velvet Matt Drawing Ink Set isn't on the show. However, this is one of my favourite cards from the show so I thought I'd share it with you today.
For the background, I laid the Delicate Border Mask along some Coconut White Card and inked around it with Stormy Sky Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I repeated this twice more.
I stamped the Fishtail Frock using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Blue Lace and Blue Cotton from the Soft Velvet Set and a little Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set. I cut it out using scissors and went around the edges with a Black Promarker to hide any white bits. I cut the largest of the Spellbinders Beaded Squares. After embossing, I left the card in the die, covered the exposed card on the circles around the edges with removable tape and stamped the Justrite Fleur de Lis Background Stamp through the die using Stormy Sky. I removed the tape and any excess ink from the die and blotted the stamped area dry with some kitchen roll and then inked through the die with Stormy Sky.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Vintage Corset Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 and inked through the die with Stormy Sky.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Frosted Blue Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges. I added some White Pearls in 2 of the corners.
Hope to see you later.

Forever Friends
Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card from tomorrow's shows.
For the background, I simply ran a piece of Black Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.
I cut 2 Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles out of Burgundy Card. At the emboss stage I added the Couture Creations Super Powder Puff Embossing Folder.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Forever Friends Cling Rubber Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I then stamped the frame from the same stamp set, again using the Jet Black Archival and embossed with clear powder. I coloured the little hearts in using Scarlet Flame Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Ink from the Autumn Shades Set. I cut out using Spellbinders Beaded Squares. I had intended to leave the die cut un-inked but there was a dirty mark on it from my mat which wouldn't come off so, rather than bin it, I inked through the die with Black Soot Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of White Silky Crush Ribbon. I cut a small Spellbinders Beaded Square out of Black Card and added a Red Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges. I also added some White Pearls in the right-hand corners.
Thanks for stopping by.

Best Wishes
Hi Bloggers.
I had a lovely day with Kathryn yesterday in sunny but windy Portsmouth.
Today's card is another sneaky peak from Tuesday's shows -
For the background, I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with my anti-static bag and stamped the Wrought Iron Corner Pre Cut Stamp using Perfect Medium in the top right-hand corner. I added Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Bay Lustre Embossing Powder and heat set. I repeated the process in the bottom left-hand corner. I wiped away the excess mica with a dry wetwipe. I then ran the background through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the corset which is from the Vintage Corset Pre Cut Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Arctic Bay Lustre Powder. Some of you may have this image already as it was on the very popular Vintage Lingerie A5 Stamp Set. However, this version is quite a bit larger than the original with the stamped image measuring approx 3" high and 2 1/2" wide. I cut the image out using scissors. I cut a piece of Aqua Silky Crush Ribbon in half lengthways and ruffled it along the base of the corset. I cut the largest of the Spellbinders Beaded Squares out of Pastel Green Card and inked through the die with Evergreen Bough.
I cut some Aqua Silky Crush Ribbon in half lengthways again and made 2 ribbon roses following Sue's Ribbon Flower Tutorial.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Wrought Iron Corner Stamp, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Arctic Bay Lustre. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 and inked through the die with Evergreen Bough.
I assembled the card as shown adding some bits of Pearl Swirls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.

My Little Princess
Hi Bloggers.
Today I'm sharing a card from Tuesday's shows. Before I show it to you, I wanted to show you the embossing powders that I've selected for the shows. You loved the ones I selected for the Wedding Shows so I thought I'd choose 4 more for Tuesday's Shows other set of 4 for the Tuesday after.
Here's the samples I've made for this Tuesday - shown on white and black card.
Hopefully, the cameras will be able to pick up the colours a bit better than I've managed. Some of them look different depending on the angle you hold them towards the light. All of the colours above are currently available in my Amazon Shop here.
Here's the card I'm sharing today - you are not allowed to say you don't like green!
The background is simply a piece of Coconut White Card run though the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Hyper Magical Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Fishtail Frock Pre Cut Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks. I used Meadow Lime and Jade Teal from the Garden Twist Set and a little Cosmic Tone from the Skin Tones Set. I cut it out with scissors and went around the edges with a Black Promarker to hide any white bits.
I cut a Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle out of Coconut White Card. After embossing, I left the card in the die and stamped the Justrite Fleur de Lis Background Stamp through the die using Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and any excess removed from the die itself and then inked though the die with Peeled Paint using Cut n Dry Foam.
I cut another Wonky Rectangle out of Green Card. Using it the other way up, I stamped the Fleur de Lis Background Stamp through the die, this time using Perfect Medium. I carefully removed the die cut from the die and added Cosmic Shimmer Lapis Orange Lustre Embossing Powder and heat set. I removed any excess mica with a dry wetwipe. I stamped the sentiment and the frame from the Justrite Forever Friends Pre Cut Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3 (which co-ordinates beautifully) and inked through the die with Peeled Paint. I cut the end bits off the die cut.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Aqua Silky Crush Ribbon and added a Teal Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
I'm off to see Kathryn in Portsmouth today as she went back to Uni earlier than planned last weekend while I was at Ally Pally and I didn't get my goodbye hug! While I'm gone - remember no 'don't like green comments'!
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
