Thinking of You

Hi Bloggers.

An easy peasy card today.

I started by stamping the Zentangled Thinking of You stamp using Perfect Medium and embossed using Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I popped a little Mulberry Mist Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Ink Spray Mist onto a tile, added a little water and used it to colour the stamp design. I cut it out using a die from Sue Wilson's Decorative Frames (Set B) from the Californian Collection. I inked through the die with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

I cut a Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One. At the emboss stage I added the Decorative Mask. Leaving the mask in place, I then spritzed with Mulberry Mist. I removed the mask and the ink from the edges of the die. I carefully dried the mist with my heat tool and then inked through the die with Victorian Velvet.

I cut a the next size up of the Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet.

I tied a bow using Pink/White Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and added a Fancy Pearl Embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  31. Hi Julia,
I agree , a really pretty, girly card today! I don't have that stamp but have the Happy Birthday one - and the pink ribbon - so with a few adjustments I could do this! I think! I don't use masks enough , don't know why when I see the results you get! Thanks again Julia for a lovely card - just right for a bright sunny day! Hope it's nice where you are.
    Love Myra

  39. Beautiful, Julia. I love the pink...does this mean you've left your blue phase behind now? I love looking at your cards and wondering if there's any way I can do something like it with the limited craft equipment I've got...it never looks anything like it, but it makes me use my brain lol. x
