Hi Bloggers.
I thought I'd continue with the tulip theme today -
The background is simply a piece of Coconut White Card run through the Grand Calibur with the Tapestry Embossing Folder from Sue's release last year. I inked around the edges with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.
I stamped the Crystal Swirl Vase using Seedless Preserves Distress Marker and cut it out using scissors.
I stamped the Tulip Spray using Seedless Preserves and Evergreen Bough Distress Markers.
I placed the vase in the position I wanted it lined up with the flowers and selected an appropriate die. In this case I used Spellbinders Labels 29. I removed the vase and die cut the tulips. I inked through the die with Seedless Preserves and glued the vase in place. I cut a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops die out of Rich Plum Card.
I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Cut Glass Vase using Seedless Preserves Distress Marker. I cut it out using a couple of Spellbinders Nobel Rectangles Dies and inked through using Seedless Preserves. I cut a mat out of Rich Plum Card using a Nobel Rectangles Die.
I tied a bow using White Satin Edged Organza. I cut the smallest die from the Spellbinders Aster Flower Topper and added a Medium Circle Dazzler.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Small Circle Dazzler to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Lilac PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Morning Julia, Another lovely card, the plum card is 'lush', I'm loving the distress marker 'direct to stamp' stamping, it gives a beautiful effect. I really have to get the detailed scallops die, and it marries perfectly with the labels 29 die. What a fabulous idea using the smallest aster flower and a dazzler, so effective. I love it !!
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Patricia xx
Beautiful Julia.
