Here's today's card -
For the background, I used some Frosty Dawn Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste through the Swoosh Mask onto Coconut White Card and put aside to dry.
Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a die from Sue's Decorative Frames Set in the Italian Collection. I inked through the die with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I also cut another larger die from the same set and again inked through the die with Antique Linen.
Faux Quilled Leaves from Coconut White Card and some Faux Quilled Blooms from Milk Card. I spritzed the blooms with a little water before I shaped them so they would keep their shape instead of flattening out. I added a Cream 8mm Pearl to the centre of each flower.
Tim Holtz Ruler.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hope the cold is improving Julia - not the right time of year for red nose day! Lovely card, the faux quilled leaves are really pretty and something a bit different. The new stamps are beautiful, none of us enjoy making Sympathy cards but that stamp would make it so much easier to create a meaningful card. Pat xReplyDelete

Sorry about your cold and poor nose! It's horrid but hopefully you'll feel lots better soon
I had super fun yesterday stamping and embossing! Results as you say , so much better if you use an anti-static bag! I felt as if you were saying - told you so! I ended the day making hairpins and am quite chuffed with them. Pride does come before a fall, however!
Have a good weekend and feel better soon
Hi Julia, told you pride comes before a fall - I meant Hatpins not Hairpins!! Love MyraReplyDelete
