Happy Birthday

Hi Bloggers.

There was a comment yesterday about Pinterest. I did have the pin at the end of my post but the html became corrupted and it stopped working so I removed it. I simply do not have the time to fix it at the moment. Prepping for shows and demos takes priority. I will fix it as soon as I have time.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I simply inked through the Trelliage Mask with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I ran the piece through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Celebrate Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and then inked around the edges with Tumbled Glass. I added Cosmic Shimmer Sky Blush Twinkles around the edges and put aside to dry.

I stamped the Earthenware Vase using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Blue Speckle Embossing Powder.

I masked off the vase and stamped the Lily Spray using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Squeezed Lemonade and Evergreen Bough Distress Markers, pulling some of the colour out on the leaves using a Tim Holtz Water Brush.

I cut the image out using Spellbinders Labels 29 and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I stamped the single Lily from the Lily Spray set, again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I coloured in the same way as before and cut out with scissors. I added it to the base of the die cut.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the Earthenware Vase using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 4 and inked through the die with Tumbled Glass.

I tied a bow using White Satin Edged Organza and added a Frosted Blue Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Blue PVA around the edges.
