If friends were flowers

Here's today's card -

This was the first card I made when I received this set of stamps. So, starting with the background using Milk Card, I first randomly inked through the Rosette Mask with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. I repeated the process with the Openwork Mask and Bundled Sage. Then, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the single rose from the Floral Spray set using Shaded Lilac. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Celebrate Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Shaded Lilac.

I stamped the Crystal Swirl Vase using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Pastel Lilac Embossing Powder. I cut it out using scissors and shaped it a little with my bone folder.

I stamped the Rose Stem again, this time using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Shaded Lilac and Mowed Lawn Distress Markers. I cut it out using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 and inked through the die with Shaded Lilac. I added the vase using 3D Foam.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with the vase, using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Branching Out and inked through the die with Shaded Lilac.

I tied a bow using Cream Satin Edged Organza and added a Lavender Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Silver Lustre around the edges.
