Scrapbook Saturday

Hi Bloggers.

I made this page quite some time ago but I thought I'd share it with you anyway. Nathan is 19 in April - he's changed quite a bit since this photo was taken!

The papers and the letters are from Basic Grey Indian Summer Collection. There's a little bit of organza ribbon and a few co-ordinating brads.

The brown textured card is some that I used to sell in my shop. I thought I had some left but can't find it so I'm afraid I can't tell you who made it, sorry. I expect I'll find it when I'm not looking for it! lol

The scalloped border was from a punch - sorry, I can't remember the name of it but a Spellbinders Edgebilities Die Set would work well too.

I have some exciting news to share tomorrow so be sure to pop by to see what it is!

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

  11. Hello again Julia, I experimented by leaving a message when your blog popped into my mail box, and it's not here so, I will redo it. Thank you for showing that Scrapbooking isn't so scary as first thought. I can see instantly what can be done with waste from a 12x12 sheet. Please keep up this amazing work, and maybe I'll be doing blue ( until following you I avoided ) scrapbook pages. X Ros

  12. Hello Julia and all

I really like the way the bright colours have balanced the brown, and they still feel appropriate for a boy. Thanks for sharing.

    Best wishes
