Hi Bloggers.
Another shoe card today. I'm pleased that these stamps are proving to be so popular.
For the background, I inked through the Eyelet Lace Mask with Mustard Seed Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam. I moved the mask around the card so that the whole area was covered with the design. I made sure the Distress Ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Chiaro Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern. I then inked around the edges with Mustard Seed.
I stamped the image from the Creative Expressions Sole Creations Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured it in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks and then cut it out using Spellbinders Fleur de Lys Rectangles. I inked through the die with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with the clear powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels Fourteen and inked through the die with Mustard Seed.
I cut a piece of white crochet ribbon in half lengthways and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I added some 12mm Hi-tack tape to the cut edge and made a ribbon flower following Sue's Tutorial here. I cut a couple of 'leaves' out using Spellbinders Venetian Motifs.
I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
