Seasons Greetings

Hi Bloggers.

Lovely to meet some of you at the Kettering Show yesterday. I'll be there again today doing more of the same.

Another Christmas Card today.

For the background, I ran a piece of red card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Elite M-Bossabilities Folder  I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern.

I stamped the winter scene image from the Creative Expressions Christmas Post Stamp Set using Olive Archival.  I covered the card with a piece from a Self-Adhesive Sheet.  You can still see the image through the adhesive sheet.  I cut the image out using the largest of the Spellbinders Splendid Circles dies.  I removed the backing from the adhesive and sprinkled with Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Crystal Sparkle Glitter.

I cut the largest of the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles out of green card.  At the emboss stage I added the Trellis Mask.  I cut  2 corners out of green card using the Spellbinders Lattice Accents Die Set.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Olive Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder.  I cut it out using one of the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners dies and inked through the die with Barn Door Distress Ink using Cut n Dry Foam.

I put some of the Self-Adhesive Sheet on to a piece of red card and cut 2 x each of the 3 smallest dies from the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die set – I didn't emboss them.  I peeled off the backing sheet and sprinkled with the Aurora Sparkle Glitter.  I cut 2 x largest of the dies used out of green card – I embossed these.  I assembled the poinsettia and added a 5mm White Pearl with Cosmic Shimmer Glue.  I repeated this using just the 2 smallest dies to make a smaller poinsettia.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlesent PVA in Berry Red around the edges and some Self Adhesive Pearl Swirls.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
