Happiness is a Day Shopping

Hi Bloggers.

Today's card features Collette from the Fashionista Best Friends Stamp Set.

For the background, I randomly stamped one of the swirls from the Beaded Elements Stamp Set using Milled Lavender Distress Ink. I then popped it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Trellis Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the pattern and then inked around the edges with Milled Lavender using Cut n Dry Foam.

I stamped the image using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured her in using Cosmic Shimmer Matt Drawing Inks and then cut out using Spellbinders Labels Seventeen. I cut a mat out of Lavender Card using the Card Creator Polka Dots die.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set again using Jet Black Archival and embossed with the clear powder. I cut it out using a Card Creator Fancy Ribbon Threader die and inked through it with Milled Lavender. I threaded some Mauve Rose American Seam Binding through it.

I made 3 ribbon flowers - 1 out of Lavender Sheer Dots Ribbon, 1 out of White Crochet Ribbon and 1 out of Mauve Rose American Seam Binding. I cut some leaves out of white card using Spellbinders Little Leafs Set and inked through the dies with Milled Lavender.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
