Hi Bloggers.
I'm demoing at Samuel Taylors Roseville Street Leeds today 10am till 4pm. Hope you can join me if you're in the area.
I had a horrible journey up to Leeds yesterday. The M1 was awful - heavy traffic, 50 mile restricted speed limit for miles and miles plus heavy rain most of the way which meant poor visibility and I had to concentrate extra hard just to see where I was going! Yuk! Hope it's a better journey home 😬
Phill Martin has shows on Create & Craft today at 11 snd 4 (I think) with part 2 of his Chic Collection. I have some of the products in my Store - just click on the Shop link in the top menu of this blog.
Here's today's card -
I cut Sue Wilson's Canadian Background (both dies) out of Coconut White Card. I glued it to a piece of Milk Card.
I popped the deboss die from Sue's Classic Adorned Squares Noble Die Set onto a piece of Milk Card and ran it through the Grand Calibur with the emboss sandwich. I removed the die and cut the 2 cutting dies either side of it from the same die set. I cut the largest die from Sue's Ornate Pierced Squares Noble Die Set out of Coconut White Card and glued the 2 die cuts together. I then reset the inner die in the frame and ran through the Grand Calibur to cut through the Coconut White Card.
I stamped the sentiment from John Lockwood's Flower Hearts Elements Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the inner die from the Tag set in Sue's Canadian Border, Corner & Tag Die Set and inked through the die with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I cut the outer tag die out of Milk Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 3mm Cream Pearls to the background and some 8mm Cream Pearls to the corners.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Beautiful card Julia,, love the neutral colour.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a safe journey back, they do say that if you wear sun glasses whilst driving in heavy rain you are supposed to see more clearly, not sure whether it works as I have never tried it, sounds bizarre but you never know lol!
