Welcome to Day 2 of my Gemini Giveaways. Today's Die Set up for grabs is Sue Wilson's Delphinus and is featured in today's card -
For the background, I cut just the insert die in the Delphinus Die Set out of Coconut White Card 3 times. I added a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Lilac Card. I peeled off the other backing sheet and added my die cut background. I then rubbed some Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles Glitter Jewels into the exposed adhesive.
I made a frame out of Coconut White and Lilac Card using Sue's Ornate Pierced Rectangles Die Set. I added it to my background using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess. I used the largest die in the set to create a mat out of Coconut White Card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Amazing Sentiments Stamp Set using Plum Archival. I cut it out using Sue's Pierced Flags Die Set and cut a mat out of Lilac Card using another die from the same set.
I made a flower out of Felt using Sue's Classic Foldover Flowers Die Set (see my video here). I cut a couple of leaves from Coconut White Card using Sue's Maidenhair Fern Die Set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some 8mm White Pearls and piercing around the edges.
Just a reminder that there's 10% off everything on my website with free delivery on orders £20 and over (UK only) - expires Midnight 4th June www.juliawattscrafts.co.uk

Hi Julia, hope you have a wonderful birthday & that you were able to rest and be thoroughly spoilt.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like I have mastered this comment thing with you now so I would like to say that this card is really fabulous, such a delicate design but it shows off the Delphinus die beautifully. I have some felt so I am seriously going to try making this flower as it really sets the card off. Thank you for sharing your talent with us Julia especially in one of my favourite colours.
Ps is anyone else having the same problem...when I go onto Sue Wilsons site, this morning, my MacAfee tells me (never happened before) that it is a very high risk site & not to go there...please be careful anyone...
Take care love Beth B x x x
Hi Elizabeth, it happened to me yesterday, I just went back and clicked on Sue's again and it didn't do it that time.
