Hi Bloggers.
As promised, I have a two-fer for you today.
Here's the first card -
This is another card made using the Spellbinders Triple Flip Card Die. We used this die when I did a Stamping Class recently - it's a great one to use with the little elements in John Lockwood's stamp sets and also Phill Martin's Montage Stamp Sets.
I used Plum Archival and used John's Scribble Rose Stamp Set for the centre panel, leaves on the middle panel and on the outside panel. The sentiment on the outside panel is from Phill's More Scribbled Sentiments Collection. I also added some corners, cut from Deep Plum Card from Sue's Scandinavian Collection, to the middle panel.
As you can probably see, I added a little surprise under the flaps on this one. I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Sparkle Square Embossing Folder. I cut the heart die from the Spellbinders Die D-Lite Heart & Flutter. I added Perfect Medium to the die cut, added some Phill Martin Chic Aubergine Embossing Powder and heat set. I added more Perfect Medium, more embossing powder and heat set again.
Here's today's second card - a sample from Friday's show
I started by cutting an aperture in a piece of Coconut White Card using the Couture Creations Love Abounds Die. Once the aperture was acutally cut from the card, I removed the die and ran the die through the Grand Calibur a couple of times it complete its cut. It really is a gorgeous die.
Continuing with the background piece, I ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Daisy Chain Mask. I then misted over it with Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Mist. Finally, I popped some Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Star Twinkles onto my Craft Sheet and added it around the edges of the background using a piece of Cut n Dry Foam.
I cut Sue's Dotty 3D Bow out of Coconut White Card, including the border. I picked some more Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Star Twinkles up onto Cut n Dry Foam and dabbed it over the Dotty 3D Bow elements and over the Love Abounds Die Cut. Once dry, I constructed the bow and slotted the Love Abounds Die Cut into its spot in the background.
I stamped the wedding text from the Creative Expressions Classic Romance Wedding Stationery Stamp Set. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels Four Die.
I assembled the card as shown, matting Milk and Coconut White Card and adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Cosmic Pearl PVA to the corners.
Hope you have enjoyed this two-fer.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
