Hi Bloggers.
Had a great day at the NEC yesterday. I'm up there again today - on the Craft World Stand (B22). Come and say hello if you're there today.
Here's today's card -
As soon as I saw this die I thought it would look lovely with Sue's Fire & Ice Technique.
I cut just the inner die from the Spellbinders Card Creator : Grate Effect Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I added a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet to the front of the die cut. I turned it over and added Cosmic Shimmer Sunlight Speckle Gilding Flakes. I removed the excess with a piece of Rubit Scrubit. I turned it over, removed the backing from the adhesive and added Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow Glitter Jewels.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a die from the Spellbinders Romantic Rose Die Set.
I tied a knot in a piece of White Tulle and trimmed it a little. I tied a bow using Off White Satin Ribbon. I added some Sunlight Speckle Gilding Flakes and Cosmic Shimmer Clear Varnish Lacquer to a Metal Dazzler Setting (another great idea from Sue). Once dry, I added it to my bow.
I assembled the card as shown adding an 8mm White Pearl to each corner.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
