Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Creative Expressions Rambling Blossoms Embossing Folder.
I sprayed some Cosmic Shimmer Mulberry Mist Vintage Ink Spray Mist onto a
piece of Cut n Dry Foam to make myself an 'ink pad'. I then spayed a little more onto my Craft Sheet and
mixed this with a little Ruby Red Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Delicate Lace Mica Spray Set. I added this to my
'ink pad' and used it to stamp theJustrite Dotted Fronds Background Stamp. I trimmed it a little and matted onto Rich Red Card. I ran the edge of my Custom Made Ink Pad around the edges of the embossed background.
I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two Clear Stamp Set using my Custom Made Ink Pad. I cut it out using scissors. I stamped the frame from the same stamp set - I added the Laugh and Today banners using Red Geranium Archival. I cut out using Justrite Vintage Labels Two Die Set.
I wrapped a piece of White Crochet Ribbon around the card, over the stamped background panel. I cut some leaves out of Rich Red Card using Sue's Petite Vinery Die Set. I made a a flower out of White Crochet Ribbon.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and piercing around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card today. The red is gorgeous. I haven't seen Johns show yet as I've been away for the weekend in Bournemouth. I've read that you made your own inks, but you've also shown us how to make stamps as well.
All your reds go together well. Lovely
ReplyDeleteHi Julia
ReplyDeleteLove it love it love it! Will remember this as sister in law's favourite colour is red and by the time her birthday gets here I'll either have that stamp or will have decided on which of mine I can use as an alternative! #justrite addict! I could look at your cards all day :-D
