A friend is like a rainbow

Hi Bloggers.

Had a lovely day of workshops yesterday at Creative Expressions HQ. All of the attendees made stunning cards. Next workshop at CE HQ is on Thursday 2nd April - details in the Workshops section of this blog - acces via the top menu.

Here's today's card -

The main feature of this card is the new Spellbinders Card Creator - Labels One Card Front which I cut out of Mauve Card.

As the name of the die indicates, it'll work with any of your Labels One Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Amazing Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels One Die and inked through the die with Dusty Concord. I cut a larger Spellbinders Labels One Die out of Mauve Card. I cut a Spellbinders Decorative Labels One Die out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with Dusty Concord.

I made a couple of Decorative Stick Pins using Creative Expressions Stick Pin Elements.

I made a flower out of Mauve Card and added a White Pearl to the centre. I tied a knot in a piece of White Tulle and a bow out of Off White Satin Ribbon.

 
John Lockwood has shows on Create & Craft today at 10am and 1pm (do double check the schedule for times).

    Nice idea with the die fronts - unfortunately I only have a cuttlebug. Funny I was playing with my label one dies yesterday for a card at the weekend for Mother's Day card in lavendar and white!
