Hi Bloggers.
Happy 1st of May! This year is really flying by!
Pixie Powders and a mix of dies from my last few shows today -
For the background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Creative Expressions Provencal Lace Embossing Folder.
I cut the largest die in the Spellbinders Ornamental Crest Die Set out of Black Card. I cut the middle die in the Spellbinders Astoria Decorative Elements Die Set out of Coconut White Card.
I misted a piece of Watercolour Card with water and tapped a little Plum Twist and Golden Mint CS Pixie Powders over. Once dry, I used this together with a little Black and Coconut White Card to make 2 shoes using the Spellbinders Ladies Shoe Die Set. I added a Craft Consortium White Resin Flower to the bow on each shoe.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White 5mm Pearls and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
Thanks for stopping by.

Morning Julia.
ReplyDeleteHappy May Day!!!!
This card is so pretty, the shoes are certainly a focal point. Years ago Wendy Stenton made a mule shoe template very much like these which I reduced inside on my printer/ copier to do a version of your card and always went down very well.

Good afternoon Julia,
ReplyDeleteOooo you've seen those lovely shoes that's in Debenhams that has a bag to match them, hee hee hee. This is a lovely card Julia and honestly there is a pair of bonny shoes in that store that has a handbag/clutch to match it and the only way that i could wear them is sitting on my scooter as i would topple getting the first shoes on, never mind the second. What a lovely girlie card to make and i know a few young 20 somethings and a 30 something that would love this card just for the shoes.
love and crafty hugs
