The Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders One Day Special starts on Hochanda this evening at 8pm. I hope you can join me.
Pixie Powders are a die power mixed with mica powder so unlike other products that are on the market, they give you a gorgeous shimmer as well as an explosion of colour. Because there is mica in them they work beautifully on Black Card as you can see here -
For the background, I misted a piece of Coconut White Card (yes, not Watercolour Card on this one) and then added Pixie Powders in Scarlet Mist, Mango Blaze and Golden Mint. Once completely dry, I ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Creative Expressions Eternal Ivy Embossing Folder. I sanded it with a sanding block to reveal the core.
Black Card using Clear Perfect Medum and embossed with CS True White Detail Embossing Powder. I popped a little of the 3 Pixie Powders that I used on my background into separate sections of my Mixing Palette. Using my Waterbrush, I added a little water to each and made into a paint. I painted the image as shown. Once dry, I cut out using a die from the Justrite Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set.
Spellbinders Lacework Button Flowers Die Set out of Black Card and a little leftover card from my background. I cut some leaves out of Black Card using Sue Wilson's Delicate Fronds Die Set.
Small Black Circle Dazzlers and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
I'm offering 10% discount on items I have in stock from the ODS shows.
You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night.
