It's Girl!

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I stamped the Justrite Reversed Crackle Background onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Clear Detail Embossing Powder. I rubbed Worn Lipstick Distress Ink over direct from the pad. I removed the excess with a piece of Kitchen Roll.

I cut the script sentiment from the Justrite It's a Girl Dies out of Coconut White Card and inked through the die with CS Pretty in Pink Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut the matting die out of Baby Pink Card.

I cut a banner die from the Justrite Stitched A2 Banners & Rectangles Die Set out of Coconut White Card. At the emboss stage, I added the Triangular Mask. I removed the mask and inked through the die with Pretty in Pink Colour Cloud.

I cut the little hearts from the It's a Girl Die Set out of Baby Pink Card and added them as shown.

I cut the little pennants from the It's a Girl Die Set out of Baby Pink Card and wrote on the name using a Pigma Micron Pen. I glued them to a piece of Pastel Pink Baker's Twine using CS Dries Clear Glue.

I have a number of back in stocks and new products on my website (with more to come!). The Stamping Mat is back in stock here. I have some new Spellbinders dies designed by Donna Salazar and Tammy Tutterhow including some die/stamp sets (click on the highlighted links). Also back in stock is Sue Wilson's Happy Couple Die. A brand new product just in are Creative Expressions Metallic Micro Beads and Opaque White Micro Beads - you can find them here. I have some new MDF, some new stamps from Woodware and Stampendous. I also have some Montage Stamps from Phill Martin which will work brilliantly with Leonie Pujol's Masks. On sale are 3 popular Large Embossing Folders - Star Swirls, Twinkle Twinkle and Contemporary Poinsettia, just £4.99 each!

I have a couple of cards made with Spellbinders dies in the new edition of Making Cards - that's a sneak peek below on the front cover headed 'Working with Delicate Die-Cuts'.

The magazine have sent me a photo of the free papers and projects you could make with them to share with you -

  17. My immediate thought was the embossing made the tag remind me of a plain quilted blanket which I rather like. Pretty card, any new mum would be pleased to receive this.
