Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Creative Expressions Jacobean Floral Embossing Folder.
I rubbed some Plum Twist and Scarlet Mist CS Pixie Powders into a piece of Watercolour Card. I inked up the Justrite Fleur Twist Background with Clear Perfect Medium and stamped into the dusted powder. Some of the powder transfers to the stamp and on the dusted card you see the image created by the Perfect Medium ink. I misted the stamp with some water and then stamped onto a piece of Watercolour Card. I trimmed it down a little and matted onto Black Card. I misted the other piece of card which gives a very subtle background and put aside for another project.
I added my background panel to my embossed background and wrapped a piece of Black Satin Ribbon around.
I stamped the image from the Justrite Sunflowers Vintage Labels Five Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Five Dies. I coloured in using Plum Twist, Scarlet Mist and Mango Blaze Pixie Powders by tapping a little of the powders into a Mixing Palette and using a Water Brush to paint with. I cut the largest die in the Vintage Labels Five Die Set out of Black Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding some Small Black Circle Dazzlers and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
