I really enjoyed the shows yesterday - I hope you did too and maybe picked up some techniques.
Following on from yesterday's shows, this card features a mask amongst other things -
Blue Dusk Card - yes, it is blue and not white so you're computer or phone aren't playing up!
I started by spreading some Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Sky Sparkle Texture Paste through the Wavy Mask asn put aside to dry (approx 2 hours).
I made a frame using Spellbinders 6 x 6 Matting Basics A Die Set.
Spellbinders Reindeer and Sleigh Die Set.
Spellbinders 5 x 7 Holly Frame.
Aqua Dazzlers and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
John Lockwood is on Hochanda today at 10am, 2pm and 6pm with some fab new stamps from Sam Poole. Hope you can tune in as I know he has some fab demos planned.
Thanks for stopping by.
Morning Julia, I caught some of your shows yesterday, love the way you use the masks etc. and picked up a few techniques which I will be trying, lovely card today too.ReplyDelete
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning Julia, a very unusual Christmas card but I think I like it still have last nights show to watch but the rest were great as usual.ReplyDelete
Hello Julia, how unusual with just the blue, but a very effective card. Your shows were great, loads of tips and techniques and new masks. Time for me to get my masks out and have some fun. Have a great day. BxReplyDelete
Morning Julia, I loved watching you yesterday, always great tips and techniques for us to try.ReplyDelete
A lovely card, very unusual all in blue, but the texture paste breaks it up a bit, my favourite poinsettia dies, and the blue dazzlers look 'good enough to eat' haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Good morning Julia today's card is gorgeous I love the colours and the stag is magnificent. It is good to know that Sam is designing again she is very talented. Your shows were brilliant I learnt so much. Have a great day today. Hugs JackieReplyDelete

I couldn't keep up with all your ideas yesterday - there were so many! I just hope I can remember some of them. Thank you.ReplyDelete
Hi Julia. Fab card and what I've managed to watch of your shows so far I have already learnt so much, in fact just watching your second one at the moment. SueL xReplyDelete
Wow Julia, great card, loved your shows yesterday, recorded them so will be able to try a fewReplyDelete
Lovely card, the wavy mask is one of my favourites and the texture paste shows up the reindeer so well.
Thanks for sharing,
Hi Julia, oooo wow! Gorgeous card in the dusky blue! It's so fetching all over. Love the reindeer he looks so regal and along with the Frosty Sky in the wave mask he really stands out xx Beautiful poinsettia too.....gorgeous! "Thank you Julia" xx Love Karen xxReplyDelete
What a great idea to make the full card with only one colour, it's lovely. Thanks for sharing.
I did enjoy your shows yesterday, you appeared to also. I have a note book by my chair and make notes and little drawings of interesting ideas and techniques. I also have little bits of paper showing various folds and bits. I have done this for several years, it's a great reference.
Good grief Julis, what a card! So different to anything else I have ever seen. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!ReplyDelete
I rally enjoyed your Hochanda shows. I think we learn so much more by seeing techniques used rather than the making of a card. I shall now go back through them to make notes on techniques we haven't done with you in the workshops. Hint, hint, a mask technique workshop please!
A "Blue Christmas" card. I am just trying to catch the repeats of your hochanda shows, as I was not able to see them live - so far I have caught the first show twice.ReplyDelete
I really do love cards all of the same colour and this card is stunning.ReplyDelete
Oh and I should have said I just loved your shows ....thanks for all the crafty tips. :)ReplyDelete
Great card-looks very striking in just one colour.ReplyDelete
wow I love this card especially with the wavy mask background and that deer looks so cute with that background.ReplyDelete
absolutely perfect and I love it.
A great card, shame I missed most of the shows. When are Hochanda going to put a catch up on their website?
Beautiful card! I missed the shows too :( I too hope Hochanda are going to let us watch the shows, that we have missed, on the website soon.ReplyDelete
