Noel

Hi Bloggers.

Day 1 of Crafting at Ally Pally today. I'm on the Creative Expressions stand with Phill Martin, John Lockwood and Lisa Horton. The stand is arranged very differently to previous shows so please come and have a look if you're visiting. Sue Wilson will be demoing on her RubberNecker stand as usual.

Here's today's card -

For this card I've used the Spellbinders Noel Strip Die and I have used the pointy end of a Smoothie to ink through the die with Phill's Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Sky Colour Cloud. The little snowflake is from the Spellbinders Let it Snow Die Set, again inking through the die with Frosty Sky. I added a 5mm White Pearl to the centre of the snowflake.

I've stamped one of the borders from Phill Frosty Christmas Holly Borders, Corners & Icons Stamp Set using Frosty Sky Colour Cloud across the top & bottom sections. I cut some Double White Pearl Strip in half and added that to the very top & bottom.

I tied a bow using Blue Satin Edged Organza and added a couple of Pearl Sprays and a Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

    Morning Julia, I so enjoyed today's card, I have some of those pearl embellishments on the ribbon and have never used them, you have now inspired me. I am so disappointed that I cannot get to Ally Pally, would loved to have meet up again for a chat with you all, I could cry.
