Hi Bloggers.
Using up some of my demo bits for today's card -
So, a technique that I've shared many times before and never tire of demoing (sorry!).
I've used the Spellbinders Misteltoe Card Front and cut just the decorative inner die out of Coconut White Card. On the front I have put a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet. I turned it over and popped some Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Decadent Denim, Decadent Grape and Decadent Teal Mica Powder which I rubbed into the exposed sticky sheet using a Soft Mica Brush. I removed as much of the excess mica as possible and then glued a piece of copy paper over the whole are to make extra sure that no mica could escape. I turned the piece over, removed the other piece os backing sheet and rubbed Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles Glitter Jewels all over. I then used the outer die from the Mistletoe Card Front to cut out the design.
I stamped the sentiment from John Lockwood's Poinsettia Elements onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Holly Tags and inked through the die using PM CS Decadent Denim Colour Cloud Blending Ink using a Smoothie. I threaded a piece of Blue White American Seam Binding through the slits either side of the die cut and secured at the back of my card.
I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
The latest release of Sue Wilson Dies are due to arrive this morning (fingers crossed). I spent all last night loading them onto my website (there's a lot of them!) and I'll post out all orders as soon as they arrive. I've also ordered all the new Stamps to Die For as drawn by John Lockwood. I'll load those on this morning.
FYI - my Hochanda TV dates are in the left hand side bar of this blog.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
