A Very Happy Christmas to You

Here's today's card -

I started by stamping the Holly Corner Mini Striplet (drawn by John Lockwood) onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium. I embossed with Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Jade Embossing Powder. I used a dry wetwipe to remove the excess Mica Powder. I then stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Peace on Earth Stamp Set using Frosty Jade Colour Cloud Blending Ink applied with a Smoothie. I cut the panel out using the outer die from one of Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Die Sets (it doesn't matter which die set as they're all the same size).

For the background, I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card with the Creative Expressions Swirling Holly Embossing Folder (smaller size folder).

I cut 2 holly pairs out of Coconut White Card and 2 sets of berries out of Ruby Card using Sue's Filigree Holly Die Set. I applied Frosty Jade Colour Cloud to the holly and then Frosty Jade Embossing Powder and heat set. I then applied Clear Perfect Medium to the holly, more Frosty Jade Embossing Powder and then heat set again. The effect was a mottled colour which I really liked. It's hard to capture on camera but those coming to Domino Crafts today will be able to see it up close.

I assembled the card as shown piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.
