Here's today's card from the One Day Special I did last week.
For the background, I ran a piece of
Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the
Couture Creations Tied Together A4 Embossing Folder. I inked around the edges with
Phill Martin Frosty Heather Colour Cloud using a
Smoothie.
I cut one of the borders from the
Couture Creations Simone's Style Die Set out of Coconut White Card. I trimmed it to size, added
Clear Perfect Medium to the die cut and then brushed
Frosty Heather Mica Powder over it.
I cut the
Couture Creations Crystal Aroma Die out of Coconut White Card. I rubbed some
Frosty Heather Gilding Wax over it and added some
5mm White Pearls.
I stamped the sentiment from the
Creative Expressions Live Laugh Love Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using
Jet Black Archival. I added a little piece of
Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet and some
Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Sprinkles Glitter Jewels. I then cut it out using the inner die in the
Couture Creations Mirabilis Die Set. I inked around the edges a little using Frosty Heather Colour Cloud applied with a Smoothie. I cut the larger die in the Mirabilis Set out of
Heather Card.
I cut the little flourish die from the
Couture Creations Vierge Square Die Set out of Heather Card to add as a little accent.
I assembled the card as shown adding some more White Pearls and piercing around the edges using my
Tim Holtz Ruler,
Precision Probe and
Piercing Mat.
John Lockwood is back on Hochanda this evening with a new Christmas Decoupage One Day Special starting at 8pm and then continuing tomorrow. Hope you managed to catch some of his shows yesterday - Sam's new stamps are really lovely. I have ordered some for my website so watch this space for their arrival. Not sure what John will have on his shows this evening but you can see the MDF I have in stock
here.
I have ordered some more masks and Polar White Sparkle Texture Paste and will let you know when they arrive too.

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, lovely colours. I sympathised with you when you were demonstrating how to extend the Crystal Aroma Die but loved your determination to do it, I think I would have been the same, lol. Thanks for sharing.
