Today's sneak peek is the Justrite Congrats Vintage Labels 3 & 7 Rubber Stamp Set. As the title implies it co-ordinates with Justrite Vintage Labels 3 Die Set and Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Die Set. It contains a gorgeous frame which really does all the work for you on your card, a couple of corners and a bunch of sentiments. You can, of course, cut the frame out using larger dies for a different look. To have a look at the Justrite blog entry for this stamp set, click here.
Here's today's card -
Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder.
I ran the bottom section through the Grand Calibur with Sue's Quilted Flower Embossing Folder (with the stamped section hanging out of the machine).
Silver Silky Crush Ribbon around the centre to hide the join in the backgrounds.
I stamped the frame using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels 3 Die. I stamped the sentiment, again using Perfect Medium and embossed with Silver Shine Detail Powder. I cut it out using a Justrite Vintage Labels 7 Die. You could, of course, stamp the sentiment within the frame instead of separately.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Silver Silky Crush Ribbon and added a White Crystal Sparkler.
White Mini Swirl, some White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
This would made a great wedding card thanks Tracy w x
Hi Julia, a really elegant and beautiful card, love the split background, and that frame is gorgeous. BxReplyDelete
Just beautiful - my type of card. I love the background - great idea to stamp one half and emboss the other. Think this is definitely one to try.
Thank you for the inspiration!
All the elements work together so well making this a beautiful and elegant card. love it xReplyDelete

Hi Julia. I love this one : ) The stamps and the embossing folder are all gorgeous. Have a great time tomorrow, I will be watching both shows, hopefully. Have a safe journey. Take care.ReplyDelete
Good morning Julia, whilst I like the design I do not like the stamp, It seems Congrats is becoming the norm on stamps and die sentiments which I think is so slovenly. What is wrong with proper English. Best wishes Jackie DReplyDelete
A soft and elegant card,ReplyDelete
Hi Julia, Beautiful card so pretty , love Jean Z xxReplyDelete
Lovely card but I agree with Jackie Durrant This is one of my pet hates bad spelling/grammar and text speakReplyDelete
Lovely card, love the way you have split the background.
So beautiful and so elegant.ReplyDelete
Wow stunning card just love the design and colour - sorry I agree I prefer Congratulations
Gorgeous Julia, love the colours, really looking forward to your shows tomorrow.ReplyDelete
Hugs to all

Love Val in Spain x
What a beautiful classy card... Stunning JxxxReplyDelete
Very very pretty Julia love it. Thank you love June xxxReplyDelete
I understand the comments about the abbreviated Congratulations but the full word would not fit within the frame so I imagine that's why it's like that. Please don't be put off by this one sentiment. The stamp set is a really lovely one with lots more un-abbreviated sentiments. Just click on the link at the start of the post to go and have a look at the Justrite blog entry for the set to see the other sentiments.ReplyDelete
Hi Julia, a lovely card. Love the stitched embossing folder.ReplyDelete
Hi Julie. Lovely card on the whole but I also would not use an abbreviation. Really looking forward to watching you tomorrow. SueL xReplyDelete

I am loving these sneak peeks.

Lovely card love the colours used xx hazelReplyDelete
Love the split background and stamps. The abbreviation doesn't bother me, and youngsters use that term, so would be ideal for them xxReplyDelete
Stunning Julia, love the design and colour.ReplyDelete

Hi Julia, a truly beautiful card and the background as usual is greatReplyDelete
the sentiment doesn't bother me at all its nothing like text speak
which I do not like.
Silver and White - cannot go wrong - lovely card and another non-messy background!!! Still not a fan of the crush ribbon you have used - but that is fine, I find your cards make me think about what to buy and what not to buy. Will try and email you tomorrow during a show or two - hope they are still going ahead.ReplyDelete
Hi Julia, Oh so classy, love it. Looking forward to the showsReplyDelete
Such a lovely card with a regal look.

Love how you have done the background in two parts for this card. Silver and white you can't go wrong. Loving the stamps and dies used as well.
