Hi Bloggers.
Today's sneak peek features the Justrite Owl be There Clear Stamp Set. It's designed by Samantha Walker. There's a SVG file for this one too. To have a look at the Justrite Blog entry for this stamp set, click here.
Here's today's card -
So, a simple triptych - easy to replicate in any colour.
I stamped each of the little owls onto a patterned paper from the Creative Expresions Teresa Collins 8 x 8 Paper Pad using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut them out using Spellbinders Classic Squares Large. I cut 3 of the largest die from the Spellbinders Luscious Labels One out of Teal Card.
I stamped the sentiment using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels 7. I cut a Justrite Vintage Sentiment Tag Die out of Teal Card.
For the background, I placed the sentiment where I wanted it and made a little mark just under it either side. I removed the sentiment. and stamped a large leafy flourish either side using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I made sure the ink was dry and ran it through the Grand Calibur with the new Couture Creations Small Dots Embossing Folder. Another lovely little repeating pattern so was really easy to line up to extend the design. I added a little Peacock Feathers Distress Ink around the edges.
I assembled the card as shown adding a White 8mm Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.
Another sneek peak tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
