Hi Bloggers.
An easy card for a Saturday featuring Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paints and some of Sue's dies.
For the background, I started by adding a little Rich Oak, Bronze and Gold Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paints to my Craft Sheet (in separate spots). I picked a little of each colour up in turn onto pieces of Cut n Dry Foam 'inking' through one of the elements in the Ornate Elements Mask. I did this in all for corners and then ran the piece through the Grand Calibur with Sue's Honeycomb Haven Embossing Folder. I inked around the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Gratitudes Stamp Set using Coffee Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Sue's Basic Frames Die Set from the Californian Collection and inked through the die with Tea Dye. I cut one of Sue's Beverly Hills Dies (again from the Californian Collection) out of Tan Card.
I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Champagne Silky Crush and added a Vintage Metal Button.
I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl in each corner and I pierced around the edges.
Sue is demoing at Coleman's Craft Warehouse in Rusden today. If you're in the area, be sure not to miss it!
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
