Shows today and a three-fer

Hi Bloggers.

I have shows today on Create & Craft at 9am (with Jacqui) and 3pm (with Dave) - hope you can join me.

I have 3 cards to share with you today to try and show you how versatile the stamps on today's shows are. I've used the With Deepest Sympathy Stamp on these. They're all pretty simple to make and are all made from Milk and Black Card.

For the background, I popped a little Graphite Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet. I picked it up using Cut n Dry Foam and then used it through one of the elements in the Floral Elements Mask in each corner. I then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Butterfly Garden Grand Impressabilities.

I stamped the With Deepest Sympathy Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles. At the emboss stage I added the Butterfly Garden Impressabilities. I stamped and embossed the With Deepest Sympathy again on a separate piece of card and cut out the monogram and picture panel. I added 3d foam popped on top of the original image.

I tied a bow using Black/Ivory Striped Grosgrain and added a Black Vintage Button.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Here's the second card -

For the background, I ran apiece of Milk Card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Regal M-Bossabilities Folder and inked around the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I masked off the monogram and picture panels of the stamp and inked the 'With Deepest ympathy' with Jet Black Archival, stamped and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I then stamped and embossed the monogram section on a separate piece of card. I cut it out with scissors. I placed it next to the rest of the wording and selected a die. I chose Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles. I removed the monogram, cut out the rest of the wording with the die and inked through the die with Antique Linen. I cut another Radiant Rectangle out of Black Card.

I assembled the card as shown adding a 5mm Black Pearl in each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Here's the third card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Black Card through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Regal M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design (it's a repeating pattern so very easy to line up).

I stamped the image section from the With Deepest Sympathy Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Classic Sentiments Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.

I tied a bow using Black/Ivory Striped Grosgrain and added a Black Vintage Button.

I cut a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Die out of Milk Card. At the emboss stage I added the Tracery Mask.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Hope you can see the potential of these stamps - lots more can be done with them, this is just a start to get your creative juices going!

Hope you can join me later - I'll be well on the way to the studios when this goes live, another stupid o'clock start!

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.
