Hi Bloggers.
Sue has more shows today on Create & Craft at 11am and 2pm. Hope you can have a look.
Here's today's card -
For the main background, I simply ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Joe's Garden Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
For the inner background, I stamped the Justrite Filigree Leaves Background using Aged Mahogany. Once dry, I inked around the edges with same.
I stamped the bottom section of the Get Well Soon Stamp 3 times using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut the panels out, matted them onto Rich Red Card and and added them to the Justrite Background.
I tied a bow using Black Crochet Ribbon and added a flower made with the Spellbinders Aster Flower Topper Die Set.
I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Cosmic Pearl around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.

Hi Julia
ReplyDeleteI agree the necklace you made for Sue was stunning - could you make them and sell in your Amazon shop? What a clever multi talented lady you are!
This card is lovely - I must have a go at this technique, but always find that something never quite lines up properly! Love that Aster topper too.
Might just get to do some crafting after lunch with Mother in Law - she's a fab cook so might be too full to do anything else but fall asleep!
Must say that Sue's shows have been enormously successful - of course, why would she worry that they wouldn't be - her blog family were in raptures when she released them.
Have a lovely weekend.
