Hi Bloggers.
Sorry yesterday's post was late. I scheduled it for 12th April by mistake - goodness knows why, must've been a bit of finger trouble.
Here's today's card using the Just a Note Stamp as is -
A messy background. I started with a piece of Milk Card. I first randomly inked through the Tracery Mask using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. I popped a little Pink Blossom Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Paint onto my Craft Sheet, picked a little up on a piece of Cut n Dry Foam and randomly 'inked' through the Distressed Dots Mask. Using the piece of Cut n Dry with the Pink Blossom Shimmer Paint on it as an 'ink pad' and with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Newsprint A6 Stamp. Again, with the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Vintage Wallpaper A6 Stamp using Bundled Sage Distress Ink. I made sure the ink and paint were dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Spellbinders Elite M-Bossabilities Folder. I ran it though second time to extend the design and 'inked' around the edges with Pink Blossom Shimmer Paint. I wrapped a piece of White Crochet Ribbon around the centre (should have been Cream - had a senior moment!).
I stamped the Just a Note Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I coloured in using Pink Blossom Shimmer Paint and Pink Ultra, Golden Pear and Enchanted Gold from the Cosmic Shimmer Garden Tones Watercolour Paint Set. I cut it out using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Victorian Velvet.
I made a flower using Justrite Vintage Labels 3 - I used 3 of the the smallest die, and 3 of the next size up. I inked the tips of the petals with Victorian Velvet once the flower had been formed. I cut some Faux Quilled Leaves out of Green Card.
I assembled the card as shown adding a bit of a Pearl Swirl, some Cream Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Vanilla PVA around the edges.
Thanks for stopping by.
Julia.
