Merry Christmas

Hi Bloggers.

I've a few Christmas Cards to share - hope you don't mind!

Here's today's offering -

The background on this one features Alcohol Inks but this time I used them on Silver Mirri Card. I popped some Aqua, Cool Peri and Denim Alcohol Inks onto my applicator tool and inked all over the Mirri Card, replenishing the ink when necessary. Next, I popped some Snowcap Mixative onto my craft sheet and used it to stamp the 2 snowflakes from the Justrite Inner Thoughts Stamp Set (on order for my Amazon Shop).

I wrapped a piece of White Silky Crush Ribbon around the background. I tied a bow using 2 lengths of the Silky Crush Ribbon and added an Idea-ology Christmas Adornment adding a pearl in the centre.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Grand Christmas Sentiments (I have ordered some of these for my Amazon Shop) using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 20 and inked through the die with Broken China Distress Ink. I cut a Justrite Vintage Label Four Die out of Black card and at the emboss stage added the Spellbinders Holiday Magic M-Bossabilities Folder.

I cut a holly border out of Coconut White Card using Spellbinders Holly Accents and inked through the die with Broken China.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Silver Lustre around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Julia.

Having said that this morning in London is very cloudy and there's no sun at all so maybe I should get some done today before the sun returns!! 22. Hi Julia, using the alcohol ink on the mirri makes a really lovely background. Not sure about the black mount though, think I would have gone with some blue to echo the ink on the topper. Anyway have a good weekend, best wishes Jackie
